CBK Dordrecht: Art Center Dordrecht is part of the municipality of Dordrecht and had to profile its identity towards its audience and the art-world, for this reason in accordance with the guidelines of the corporate identity of the municipality Dordrecht. The assignment was to develop a concept that would lead to a clear graphic identity for the CBK Dordrecht, without turning this concept into an obvious and rigid corporate identity. Solar Initiative developed 'image signing system' or ‘tag-system’, as a basis for the visual identity. The 'tag' changes entirely or partially of color dependent on the application where necessary: dark grey for the 'corporate' application (e.g. information concerning the CBK or activities in its own space) and a random colour for activities which take place outside its own space or in the public space.

Centrum Beeldende Kunst Dordrecht (CBK) is an active podium for contemporary arts and crafts in the city of Dordrecht. CBK offers every year a program of exhibitions, educational projects and special cultural activities. CBK is responsible for the arts in public spaces, is a mediator for artists in Dordrecht and manages the local CBK artotheque for individuals and companies.
