Jeannette attained a degree from the Mr. Koetsier Institute for Fashion Management in Amsterdam. After working in the fashion industry for several years, she founded Jeannette Zuurbier Photography in Amsterdam, which rapidly developed into a distinctive agency for applied Dutch photography, incorporating a production management unit for advertising, fashion, and editorial journalism. Since the foundation of Solar Initiative in 1999, she has held the position of Managing Director at the agency. Her abilities as a natural mediator and gifted organizer render her a reliable and indispensable partner, specialized in fashion and retail assignments. Jeannette has augmented her photographic skill and expertise to include strategy and consultancy on visual communication projects.
Miguel Gori grew up in Lucca, Italy and studied Architecture at the academy in Florence. He came to the Netherlands to study Graphic Design and Publicity at the AKV St. Joost (Academy of Art and Design) in Breda. He worked as a designer at Studio Convertino and Sottsass Associati in Milan (Italy), as well as Esprit de Corp. in Düsseldorf (Germany). For a subsequent number of years, he was the Art Director at Mexx International in Amsterdam. He was a partner in setting up the Battlegrounds design studio in Amsterdam, before becoming Creative Director at Solar Initiative in 1999. The combination of his sharp eye for composition and detail, alongside his passion for photography, resulted in years in the field as a freelance fashion and travel photographer for many national and international magazines. Miguel's talent lies in the combination of his sense of contemporary signs and meticulous memory for image, resulting in an unstoppable flow of ideas and visions in the field of design and photography. Since 2011, Miguel has been responsible for the art direction of Vogue Nederland.
